Many Christian holidays are celebrated are celebrated with special worship services at Flushing Presbyterian Church.

World Communion Sunday

On the first Sunday in October, we join with Christians around the world to celebrate World Communion Sunday.

All Saints Day

On this day, we join to celebrate our saints, with a special focus on those loved ones that we have lost over the past year.

Advent

On the four Sundays before Christmas, we celebrate Advent. During this time, we prepare for the birth of Jesus and focus on hope, peace, joy and love. 

Christmas Eve

We celebrate the birth of Jesus on Christmas Eve. 
Our Christmas eve service is a Candlelight Communion service. Both choirs offer special music to celebrate this holy night.

Ash Wednesday

On Ash Wednesday, we hold a special service at 7pm. 

Holy Week

Palm Sunday

With shouts of "Hosana!", we join together on Palm Sunday with a special worship service to celebrate Jesus's entry into Jerusalem.

Maundy Thursday

From candlelit Tenebrae services, to recreating the Last Supper, each year we hold a special evening service to remember this very special night in the life of Jesus. 

Good Friday

On Good Friday, we sometimes partner with other churches, but always welcome the Flushing community to take time out of the afternoon to observe this sacred day with a special worship service. 

Easter Sunday

We join together to joyfully celebrate Christ's resurrection on Easter Sunday with two special worship services.



The choirs join together for our 10:30 service to celebrate with joyous music.
