Flushing Presbyterian Church Privacy and Photo Policy
The purpose of this policy is to outline the use of photographs, videos and other personal information that may be used in promoting the activities of the church, including print publications and our church website.
Personal Information
For Church Staff:
We list names, email addresses and office phone numbers.
For Adult Members:
We will often list names when members are a contact for some group or activity that we are featuring on the website. Unless given specific permission, we will not list email addresses or phone numbers for these members. It is assumed that members have access to this information in the church directory or the church office.
For youth and children:
We do not typically list names. We will list the first name and last initial for children that are on schedules for positions like lay leader and acolytes. Photo captions will never contain names.

Photo and Video Use
The activities and events sponsored by Flushing Presbyterian Church, including worship services, are considered public and may be photographed. When using photos or videos of events, attendees or members, we will use the following guidelines:
We do not put names as captions in photos (except for pastor/staff)
We do not post anything that would be embarrassing, objectionable or hurtful to anyone in the photo
We cannot prevent third parties from copying or manipulating images for dishonest purposes
Anyone who does not wish to have his or her photograph or video image, or that of a minor child, used or published by Flushing Presbyterian Church in any of its printed materials or website, may fill out the Photo/Video Opt out form and return it to the church office.
